This Privacy Policy details what choices you have in managing your personal information.  It is important to Encore Residence Club that our users have adequate education and control over their information.  This Privacy Policy is designed to equip our consumers ("you" or "your"), who use our Website (as defined herein), with tools to help understand and control the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information.

Encore Residence Club reserves the right, at any time, to modify this Privacy Policy.  If revisions are made that alter the way we collect, use, or share personal information, we will post those changes in this Privacy Policy.  You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay up to date on our most current policies. The Types of Information We Collect

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, when we use the term "personal information" we are referring to information that allows another party to identify or contact you. Non-personal information refers to information that does not directly identify you. We collect both types of data.

We collect personal information from visitors on and any social media webpages created by Encore Residence Club (collectively, the "Website").  For persons who register and become a user of the Website or otherwise transact on the Website, this will include information such as email address, telephone number, home address, and zip code. Personal information may also include information you provide to us in order for us to create personalized communications and services for you and your guests, including: credit card information, your birthday, transaction history, home value, company information, job title, and information about your traveling companions.

Other information we collect may include marketing information, including both offline and online information, such as: 

Behavioral or demographic characteristics, when related to personal information.

Data based on past transactions and purchase behavior, when tied to personal information.

Data from marketing opt-in lists, consumer surveys, or publicly available information.

We may collect some of your personal information by asking that you offer it to us.


Cookies are small files stored on your computer which identify you as a unique user and are used by many sites. We may use cookies on the Website to allow us to assess activity and to customize your experience, among other things.  For instance, cookies may allow us to recollect your viewing preferences without needing you to re-type a username and password. Web Beacons

A web beacon is an electronic file on a web page that enables us to calculate and identify users who have visited that page.  A web beacon can be used in HTML-formatted email to determine responses to our communications and assess their success. For example, if you receive an email from us and click on a link in that email to go to the Website.  You are able to avoid web beacons in email by turning off HTML display and displaying only the text section of the email.

Web Server Logs

Web server logs are records of activity created by the device that bring the webpages you request to your browser.  For example, a web server log may record the search term you entered or the link you clicked to bring you the webpage.  The web server log also may record data about your browser, such as your IP address and the cookies set on your web browser by the server.

Geo-Location Technologies

We may gather information about the location of your device only if you provide your permission.  You may request at any time that we do not collect information about your location by contacting us at the address listed below under the Section titled “How We Communicate with You.”

We also may add to the personal information we collect from visitors with other information from third party Data Sources, explained below.

Third Party Data Sources

In addition to the information that we collect from you directly, we may receive information about you from third parties, such as our business partners, our affiliates, data providers, data partners or publicly available sources ("Data Sources").  We permit Data Sources to send us marketing data that they have gathered from both online and offline sources. This may include information from customer lists, website memberships, or other information created from a third-party's own technology.

How We Use Information

-        Complete or manage transactions for you and send you verifications and receipts.

-        Comply with booking requests you have made, plan holidays for you, verify itineraries you have selected, and recommend products or services we think you may find interesting.

Sharing Your Information with Service Providers

 We may share information with third-party service providers for those service providers to perform business functions for Encore Residence Club.  These services may include assisting us to provide services that you request. Service Providers also help us to build or maintain our databases, study and analyze the people who request products, services or information from us, to organize and disseminate communications, or to respond to inquiries.

Law Enforcement and Legal Process

We may report any actions that we reasonably believe to be illegal to law enforcement agencies, or that we reasonably believe may help a law enforcement investigation into unlawful activity, as well as release your data to the extent required by a valid order of a court or other governmental body or by applicable law.  We also reserve the right to issue your information to law enforcement agencies if we decide, in our sole judgment, that either you have violated our policies, or the release of your information may protect the rights, property, or safety of Encore Residence Club or another individual.

Sharing Your Information as Permitted by Law

We may be obligated to share your information with others if required by law.  This may include sharing your information with governmental entities, or third parties for reasons such as subpoenas, court orders, other legal process. We may also believe is necessary to exercise our legal rights, to defend against legal claims that have been brought against us, or to defend against probable legal claims that we determine in our sole discretion might be brought against us.

Affiliates and Business Transition

We may share your personal information with our corporate affiliates (e.g., parent company, sister companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control). If we, or any portion of our assets, are purchased or we undergo another transition in our business, your information may be transferred to the acquiring company or other entity remaining after such a transition.

Behavioral Advertisers

We may participate in behavioral-based advertising.  This means that a third party may use technology, such as a cookie or a web beacon, to recognize you on the Website so that they can deliver advertising about products and services customized to your interest.  That advertising may be displayed either on the Website, or on other web sites.

Marketing Initiative

We take fair and suitable measures to help keep information secure, and to help prevent it from becoming revealed to individuals who are not termed in this Privacy Policy.  While we follow reasonable procedures to try to protect our information, no security system is fully secure and we cannot guarantee, and you should not expect, that your personal information will remain secure in all situations.

Limiting The Way We Share Your Personal Information

Changes to Your Personal Information. We rely on you to update and correct your personal information. You may modify or delete your account profile by logging into your account. Some personal information can also be changed by contacting us using the information in the Section titled “How We Communicate With You.”

Deletion of Your Personal Information

Typically, we commence sharing your information within 30 days of the date you register on the Website or join our club. We will continue to use your information as described in this Privacy Policy. You may however request that we remove your personal information. All requests must be directed to the contact listed under the Section titled “How We Communicate With You” below. We may also decide to erase your personal information if we believe your data is incomplete, inaccurate or that our continued use and storage are differing to our obligations to other individuals or third parties. When we remove such information, it will be deleted from our active database. It may take up to 30 days to remove you from some databases and lists but may only be kept for so long as we have permitted purpose for processing it. Personal data may remain in archives where it is not practical or possible to remove it.   In addition, we may keep your personal information as needed to communicate with you in connection with servicing your account, fulfilling your requests, administering any promotion or program in which you have elected to participate, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and/or enforce any of our agreements.

Email Un-Subscribe

If you determine that you do not want to receive commercial emails from us, you can "opt-out" from receiving such emails by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link provided at the bottom of every email. Please note that if you choose to opt-out, we will still send you emails relating to specific products or services that you purchase, or emails that we believe are relevant to any communication that you have sent to us, or relationship that you may have with us.  If you decide later that you would like to receive commercial emails from us, you can re-add yourself to our mailing list.
